Meet your host Rey Spearo by the crocodile landmark in the quaint village of Mismaloya. This is where the adventure begins!
Learn about the sub-tropical deciduous forest as you ride through a rural setting crossing the river to a magnificent waterfall where you can swim with the fishes in mountain fresh water.
At the waterfall, enjoy fresh Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Mojitos… made with fresh fruit from the region. Afterwards enjoy a sumptuous lunch on the beach.
THE RIDE
Do you know that the heart of a horse is so huge it will change the vibration of a human heart? Before you even approach them, horses can sense your energy. Horses read your body language and respond to your energy. Rey will introduce you to “Horsemanship 101 - Get to know your steed” and teach you about the spiritual connection between you and this magnificent creature.
After horseback riding you visit a pristine beach to swim and snorkel, eat and drink or nap on a comfortable lounge chair in the shade of a palapa or beach umbrella.
A nap on the beach after your ride is highly recommended!
Horseback riding is an excellent cardiovascular workout and is regarded as “moderate exercise,” according to BHS PR executive Megan Hawkins, “while trotting exerts more energy than playing badminton.”
What to bring:
There’s a beautiful waterfall where you can swim so remember to bring your bathing suit and towel.
Bring Pesos! Cards are not accepted universally.
The bus to Mismaloya from Old Town/Zona Romantica is only 10 pesos and runs until about 10pm. Taxis are available 24/7 between 200 and 500 pesos for most destinations in/around the Puerto Vallarta area.
